Spell out Great Tidings with Patterned Paper

These papier mache letter spell out glad tidings during Christmastime using a variety of pretty patterned holiday paper.

You will Need:

5x8x1 papier mache letters
Assorted holiday color patterned papers
Solid green paper
Glue stick

Cut the papers Trace a front for each letter onto the wrong side of the patterned papers;also trace a back flopping the N E and L Add a 3D 8 inch border around the inside and outside of all letters. Cut out the shapes. Make a diagonal cut into each corner;clip into the curved areas of the O . Cut 1 inch wide strips from the green paper.

Decorate the letters: Glue the paper front and back to each papier mache letter,folding the borders around the edges. Cover the side with the 1 inch wide strips.
