Bread Salad

This time of year, I am sure there are a lot of you out there that have a abundant supply of garden tomatoes.

Here's a good use for them !!

Ingredients:

Half a large crusty baguette cut into 3/4 inch cubes
2 pounds tomatoes cut into chunks
1/2 cup basil leaves ,silvered
1/2 pound fresh mozzarella cubed
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1 large garlic clove pressed
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Put bread, tomatoes, basil and mozzarella into a large bowl. In a separate bowl,whisk together remaining ingredients. Pour enough dressing over the salad to moisten, toss it together with your hands, and let it sit for around half an hour to get soggy.
